The Power of Peer Support: Getting to Know Our Peer Facilitators

At Generation Patient, our Peer Support Groups provide a welcoming space where young adults can connect with others who truly understand the challenges, questions, and emotions that come with living with a chronic illness.

By bringing people with shared experiences together, our groups remind participants that they are not alone. Whether someone is newly diagnosed or has been managing their condition for years, there is always something to learn, someone to encourage, and hope to be found in connecting with others.

We are incredibly grateful to our peer facilitators, whose dedication makes these groups possible. We invite you to get to know the inspiring people behind our Peer Support Groups, learn why they volunteer as peer facilitators, and what motivates them to support others in the community.

Visit our new webpage to learn more about peer facilitators and watch a special video from Generation Patient's Peer Support Advisor, Hannah Yore, to discover why peer support matters and how our facilitators are making a difference - one conversation at a time.
